You have a old-fashioned system that is hard to beat! And, how many of us want to get rid of our little black books? Few.

FYI that a tool like RoboForm doesn't have to replace the trusty moleskin. You can download and print those important names, addresses (URLs) and passwords.

RoboForm sure does increase productivity, however, by serving as a bookmark and access manager. I use it as well for notes that I don't want a burglar or intruder to find if they did make it past my home's defense system.

People who do not have a home alarm and/or loyal guard dogs should beware. You're technical and surely have spyware to prevent keyloggers. But those who don't have such skill or a strong security system should beware. Manually typing passwords to access accounts opens them up to keyloggers, pieces of software that spy and capture keystrokes.

They should know that their a firewall does not protect against keyloggers, and only some anti-virus software protects against these password spies.

They can double dip their password protection by using anti-spyware software as well as a tool like RoboForm. Next, they should get their own Wild Dingos!

Ha! I still use my mini black book moleskin. non categorized, non alphabetized and takes about 5 minutes to find a password. BUT: it's guarded by 2 things: house alarm and a biting GSD/formosan mt. dog. so I guess it's pretty safe. unless an intruder has a steak.

thanks for sharing Dana. i just may have to retire my moleskin. sigh. i love that thing.
